Ranked as Captain among the Marines, Erel possesses a good deal of authority, even having his own warship to lead.
When receiving Stevens Orobio's support from afar, Erel has shown enough prowess in dealing with an entire crew of coordinated Pirates.

Rokushiki[]
Having trained with other Marines and Instructors, Erel is capable of utilizing the Rokushiki (六式, Six Powers?) martial arts. Being a mostly physical combatant, he has favored it over any other style.
Erel often employs this style in conjunction with his Devil Fruit.
Tekkai (鉄塊, Iron Body?)
Rankyaku (嵐脚, Storm Leg?)
- Mure (群れ, Flock?) is a combination of Rankyaku and Tekkai, hardening the feathers on Erel's limbs, while transformed, to attack from a distance. He expands his muscles and slices with any of his limbs, shooting out the many feathers, which are engulfed in a shimmering light and take the form of a flock of birds. These are so numerous that they look like small stars from a distance. Their might allows them to cut through reinforced cannonballs. This is first used against the Dread Pirates at Reverse Mountain.
- Torika (鳥加, Increased Bird?) is a close-distance version of "Mure", wherein Erel uses the hardened feathers as small blades. The sharpness of his feathers is enough to cut things just by passing by them. After hardening them, Erel closes in towards his opponent in an erratic manner, often twisting his own body as to throw off the opponent. It is shown for the first time against Rak Roberts at Reverse Mountain.
