The Gaso Gaso no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that turns whoever eats it into a Pixel Person. The user becomes able to create three-dimensional pixels. Gaso is a Japanese word that means "image pixel".
This Devil Fruit appears as a blackberry, where each druplet is a different colour and they each have a tiny spiral in the middle of them.
Strengths & WeaknessesEdit
The major strength of this Devil Fruit is that it allows the user to produce tiny cuboidal packets of lights. They can use and manipulate these pixels as they see fit. Each pixel is quite sturdy and seemingly weightless, being composed of light. Should a pixel break, a small explosion of light energy similar to that produced by the Pika Pika no Mi will emerge from the broken container. While one pixel breaking won't likely cause significant damage, if a large amount of pixels break, the resulting damage can be quite large, and the energy contained in a single pixel is strong enough to break any surrounding pixels. As a result, this can create a chain reaction of explosions. The user can create pixels of any colour, including black ones that have a total absence of light. Because they contain no light at all, they will not explode if broken. Advanced users of this fruit can even turn non-living objects that they are in contact with into pixels. These pixels will be the same colour as the object was.
The major weakness of this Devil Fruit is that the user is still vulnerable to the explosions that come from broken pixels. Standard Devil Fruit weaknesses apply.
Behind the ScenesEdit
- The concept for this fruit came from the movie Pixels.
- It appears as a blackberry because it's druplets are reminiscent of pixels to the author.
