The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Frankenstein is a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that enables one to transform into a Frankenstein Human (フランクエスタイヌ人間, Furankensutainu Ningen).

The fruit, from Dante's memory, took a form similar to a grey banana with a screw-type head as opposed to its standard one. According to Dante, it tasted like an electric shock pulsed through his body.

Frankenstein, or rather, Frankenstein's Monster (フランクエスタイヌの化け物, Furankensutainu no Bakemono) is a legendary, infamous creature that seemingly existed in the Dark Ages. Legends say it was a creature formed from various deceased human parts sewn together in order to become a perfect, artificial human. The monster did in fact come to life, but not in the way that Frankenstein intended him to be. Where Frankenstein sought to begin a new population of artificial humanity, the monster did the opposite. The monster was a bloodthirsty, raging murderer whose every step was littered with bloodshed. It was an immortal being that could sew itself back together, and no blade, no bullet could stand in its way. It isn't known exactly why the Monster acted this way, some theorized it to be the conflicting will of the parts used to make it, others say it was vengeance from the dead who were used to build such an abomination.
Frankenstein's Monster seemingly met his end at the hands of Frankenstein himself. The scientist made use of the very lightning that animated the Monster in order to burn it to a crisp, singing away all the strings that held its body together and left it to crumble apart.
While the veracity of these claims are not proven, the Franken Family has continued the legacy of Frankenstein and hopes to create another artificial human that will surpass what Frankenstein sought to create.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The Frankenstein model does not outwardly change the user's physical appearance. Instead, they acquire the property of being stitched together. Every organ, every muscle, limb, skin and bone is sewn together through a mysterious thread that is present within all of the user's body. Whenever damage is made to the body, so long as the threads are in-tact, the user may sew themselves back together with little issue. Although they are not immune to pain, this property grants them significant resistance to normal methods of damage. High-impact blunt force trauma, bullets and even slashing wounds do little to stop the advance of the Frankenstein fruit user.
A major advantage of wielding the Frankenstein fruit is that the user can also adjust their body at any given moment. Because these threads are easily accessible to the fruit wielder, the user may open and close their body in any manner they wish. Using their threads, it is possible to stretch out skin, create new layers, and fold objects into the body that would ordinarily be impossible to place in a human body. This is also applicable in battle. The user may employ this stitching property to adjust the placement of key organs in vital moments of battle and lock enemies into their body before delivering critical strikes, depending on the user's ingenuity.
While there are plenty of advantages to the Frankenstein fruit, there are also weaknesses. Threads that are severed by seastone cannot be regenerated through the standard method, making seastone difficult to combat. Similarly, being submerged in water also prevents the user from using their stitching powers. Another method of completely removing the threads from the user's body is exposing them to powers that can burn them, such as high-heat electricity or flames.
