Jiri Jiri no Mi is an article written by Arukana.

The Jiri Jiri no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability to draw upon the strength of the Sun by absorbing solar energy into their body, bestowing them with abilities related to the sun itself, making the user a Solar Human (太陽人間 Taiyō Ningen?). It was eaten by D'armes Arluin.

According to Zion, it is one of the three Planetary Devil Fruits (惑星の悪魔の実 Wakusei no Akuma no Mi?)ーa series of Devil Fruits which bless the user with power of a specific celestial object. It was specifically known as Helios (ヘリオス Heriosu?).

Etymology[]

  • "Jirijiri" (ジリジリ/じりじり?) is the Japanese onomatopoeia for feeling the sun blazing down.

Appearance[]

The Jiri Jiri no Mi is a round yellow and orange fruit, being compared to an actual orange in terms of shape and texture. It is also composed of many flame-shaped components which have swirl patterns within each one and crimson outlines.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

The main strength of this fruit, as demonstrated by Arluin, is that it gives its user the ability to create and control solar energy. This unique energy produces light and heat in a vein similar to the Sun.

Trivia[]

  • The Jiri Jiri no Mi was originally named the San San no Mi (サンサンの実?), referencing the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sun shining down brightly. However, it was changed in order to free up a name for Dal's Acid-based Devil Fruit.
  • The art for the Jiri Jiri no Mi's fruit was drawn by none other than DamonDraco.
    • The original art for the Jiri Jiri no Mi was drawn by Snoop prior to her departure on the wiki. It served as an influence over the design of the current Jiri Jiri no Mi.
