Murasaki Mori is a half-mink swordsman and a rookie pirate hailing from South Blue. She was a former member of the Chateau Pirates before their inevitable destruction. Afterwards, she became a freelance bounty hunter while training to overcome her weakness. Her ultimate desire for vengeance.

Mori is a young swordswoman and is the sole practitioner of a sword style she herself designed. This style is known as the Crescent-Wolf Style (偃月狼流, Engetsu-Okami Ryu).

Originally owning only a nameless katana she acquired on her home island, Mori's sword was broken during a fight with some Marines. During her flight from Noir Chateau on the island of Whitechapel she stole a new sword on accident, before deciding to keep it as she was a pirate anyways.
This sword is known as Mikazuki, and is one of the Wazamono grade swords.

- Despite being a Fox, she has a dog fruit due to Foxes being part of the Canidae Family of the Animal Kingdom.
