First and foremost, I must congratulate you, the reader, on venturing upon this page. You have now officially embedded your legacy within the higher ranks of this wiki simply by electing to read this portion of the site. I will attempt to be as brief as possible, as I would hope you are quite enthusiastic about getting started with your first few articles here. The following article contains specific details on our rules and regulations. Please be wary of these guidelines at all times.

General Guidelines

Unlike other fandoms, we are a one-piece roleplay fandom, which means that we are a community of editors dedicated to creating a collaborative story within the scope of the same universe. This is not a fanfiction site, nor is it an archive to document one piece information. Everything that is crafted within this fandom actively supports and canonically exist within the scope of our one-piece universe, which may deviate slightly from canon's own. Because this universe is collaborative, meaning that all character's actions can theoretically impact other characters, we have a few guidelines that should be always followed.

  • Civility: Treat all members of the community with respect and kindness. Avoid toxic behavior such as trolling, flaming, or harassment. Be mindful of your language and actions, and strive to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Integrity: Be honest and transparent in your interactions with others. Avoid plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of dishonesty. Respect the intellectual property of others and give credit where credit is due.
  • Contribution: Contribute positively to the community by sharing your ideas, creativity, and knowledge. Collaborate with others to create engaging and immersive roleplaying experiences. Be open to feedback and constructive criticism, and use it to improve and grow.
  • Fortitude: Be resilient in the face of challenges and setbacks. Embrace the spirit of adventure and exploration that is central to the One Piece world. Keep pushing yourself to learn and improve, and never give up on your dreams.
  • Empathy: Show empathy and compassion towards your fellow roleplayers. Understand that everyone has their own unique experiences and perspectives, and be open to learning from them. Support each other and build strong relationships based on trust and understanding.
  • Commitment to Quality: Strive for excellence in everything you do. Pay attention to detail and take pride in your work. Seek to create high-quality content that is engaging, immersive, and true to the spirit of One Piece. Continuously improve and refine your skills, and inspire others to do the same.
  • Article Page: The font on all articles across the wikia should be kept at the default setting; font should not be altered in any form, including size, color, or style. A change in font may potentially be hard on the eyes and disrupt a user from reading comfortably. Customized templates may not be employed on this site. This includes infoboxes and property tags.

Plagiarism Policy

In our One Piece Roleplaying Fanon, plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Plagiarism is defined as the act of using someone else's work, ideas, or creative content without proper attribution or permission. It is a form of intellectual theft that undermines the integrity of the community and can have serious consequences for the perpetrator. To ensure that our community remains free from plagiarism, we have the following policy in place:

  • Original Content: All content posted on our platform must be original and created by the user posting it. This includes character profiles, storylines, world-building elements, and any other creative content related to the One Piece universe.
  • Attribution: If you are using any ideas, concepts, or content created by someone else, you must provide proper attribution. This includes giving credit to the original creator and providing a link to the source if applicable.
  • Fair Use: We recognize that there are certain situations where it may be appropriate to use copyrighted material without permission, such as character face claims. However, users must ensure that their use of such material falls within the bounds of fair use and does not violate copyright law.
  • Consequences: Violations of our plagiarism policy may result in a range of consequences, including warnings, temporary or permanent bans from the platform, and removal of the plagiarized content. We take plagiarism very seriously and will not tolerate any form of intellectual theft.
  • Reporting: If you believe that someone has plagiarized your work or the work of someone else, please report it to the moderators immediately. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action as necessary. By adhering to our plagiarism policy, we can ensure that our community remains a safe, respectful, and creative space for all members.

Discord Policy

Within our Discord chat, aside from the rules listed above, there are several placed in accordance to the channels of our server.

  1. Beware of what images you share on the server, while One Piece and many ani-manga have their ecchi moments, you should respect others.
  2. Refrain from posting manga spoilers anywhere outside of the spoilers channel and its related group.
  3. The Item-Shop channel must only be used for the commands buy and order-number so that we keep things clean and organized. To use shop, you have to head somewhere else such as rep-balcony or purse-view.
  4. Refrain from replying in channels such as review-threads, staff members are in charge of it.
  5. To publish an One Piece Roleplay related artwork in opr-art, make sure the image is "finished", in that it is not a sketch in any form.
  6. When asking for translations in translation-aid, make sure to tag @ Marys and specify what sort of translation you want: Full Japanese, Double Meaning, Literal Japanese. Feel free to ask for explanations on those.

Image Policy

  1. Images from DeviantArt and other related websites, any author, require references to be used.
  2. Certain Video game images are not allowed, specifically, those that are in-game photos or 3D renders.
  3. Do not pollute an article with gifs. Be reasonable about how many images go on a page.
  4. Real-life images are not allowed. Do not upload selfies of any kind and do not use your favorite film actor as a representation for one of your characters. Similarly, do not use images of real locations or animals.
  5. All images should relate to the theme of anime/manga at all times. Comic books and digital arts are acceptable but we ask to use common sense when making your selections. You can not use a Sponge Bob character or Timmy from Fairly Odd Parents, but you could use Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn.
  6. As we cannot anticipate every possible image a user may find or generate, these rules and subject to change, and staff ultimately has the right to decide what photos do not follow our MoS.

Editing Rules

  1. This wiki has specific standards for each individual article. Please take it upon yourself to ensure your own work is legible enough to be published. Be alert of grammatical errors at all times, and always strive to improve your own writing abilities.
  2. For the sake of a more efficient means of organization, please utilize the many tools made available to you by the website. This includes categorizing your articles, using the appropriate infoboxes, and including a property tag.
  3. When naming an article be mindful of using terms that have no representation within the One Piece universe. Referencing real life countries, nations, religions, organizations, movements, or other conflicts of interest is explicitly prohibited on this site unless already established within the canon of the story as decided by Eiichiro Oda.
  4. Please refer to the manual of style at all times whenever you are in the process of creating an article. All character pages should contain a minimum number of three sections: Appearance, Personality, and History.
  5. Use proper wiki coding. Broken links and templates should be corrected immediately. Users are strongly encouraged to make use of references.
  6. Do not edit articles that do not belong to you without permission. Simple grammar corrections, however, are fine.
  7. An unspoken rule, do not mention other characters and the like without the creator's explicit permission unless citing a scenario which has occurred in a role-play.

Failure to abide to any of the rules above will result in the article being flagged with a Manual-of-Style warning.

AI Rules

  1. Effective immediately, we are no longer allowing AI writing on the wiki. While we understand it can be a useful tool, it is not a replacement for the real thing. After all, the very core of this hobby of ours is writing, we do not need robots to do that for us! We ask that anyone who has used AI writing on a page and or roleplay removes it and does not continue this practice in the future, as you will receive a warning and be forced to correct this error. The use of AI (Chat GPT, Bard AI, etc.) will not be tolerated when it comes to writing on the wiki. The use of these programs to write a page on your behalf or a roleplay post is prohibited. However, this does not apply to AI art.

Page Updating

Updating pages can be quite a task sometimes, however, in a shared universe there are certain pages that hold the uttermost importance in regards to being updated.

Canon territories, poneglyphs, among many others, the articles and pages that you go and think:

  • "People will interact with this"
  • "Oh people would want to know its current status"
  • "People need the information of this article"

After all, we tend to look at their pages before anything else, so it would make sense that rather than have to ask somebody about it, you can just check it. You do not need to write the whole article, sometimes a little mention in the introduction can solve the issue.

Registries in particular are a MUST to be updated, as they show what is currently in possession of whom. Whether it is weapon, territory, fruit, and so on.

Story Policy

Pirates that ask out for the presence of Marines in their role-plays must have conscience that they will be subjecting themselves to the possibility of being captured.

However, there will be certain situations and circumstances where a pirate may be capable of avoiding capture, something that will depend on the development of the role-play and the credibility for it to happen. The same applies to the opposite scenario.

If the role-players have discussed beforehand and decided on the stakes themselves, they don't need to abide to the condition above. Although, one of the role-players may come to the Administration if their partner has not respected the stakes planned.

By logic and statements, out and in-universe, there are several prisons which the captured criminals may be sent to. This allows for the possibility of break out, as the prison of Impel Down is heralded to be the world's greatest and safest. Thus, this avoids trivialization of its reputation and makes it more credible for a pirate to escape.

Certain pirates will end up on transport ships from the Marines, giving another situation of possible escape. The contrary is also true, not all Pirates should logically be capable of escaping, however, things will depend on the development of the role-play, role-play which must be done if there is to be an attempt at escaping.

Pirates and Criminals that do not escape and end up in Impel Down will NOT be locked forever. Even then, in order not to trivialize its break-outs, as mentioned above, there will be occasional and group break-outs.

Inactivity

If a role-play partner goes long (a week and beyond) without posting AND without explaining themselves, the user can opt to: report it to the admins; close down the role-play; substitute the partner.

If the partner is active, but, ignores messages and pings/tags from the other party, this is also applicable.

Once the partner explicitly knows of the warning, yet doesn't respond, NPC * action can be taken.

World Government Policy

If, during the course of a roleplay, World Government-affiliated Royalty, a World Noble or any similar entity is harmed in any way by your character, the user cannot refuse pursuit from ANY World Government assigned worker. These RPs cannot have fixed outcomes. These actions must also be reported directly to the Administration team.

Reinforcement Clause

In a role-play where an unmanned (defined as not being controlled by an opposing role-player) World Government facility is invaded by foreign entities, World Government agents of an appropriate rank may be deployed to defend it by users who aren't part of the invading party. The maximum number of World Government agents that enter the RP must match the number of foreign invaders. However, if the World Government's agents are substantially weaker than the invaders (i.e a Yonko crew's elite is faced against Marine Captains), a larger number of World Government agents can be summoned.

Celestial Dragon Encounter Clause

In the event of any roleplay scenario where a Celestial Dragon is struck or killed, the participants must report the incident to the administration within twenty-four hours. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the affected roleplay being stricken as "Non-canon."

The Celestial Dragons are a powerful and influential group within the One Piece universe, and any interaction with them can have significant consequences for the story and the characters involved. To ensure that these interactions are handled appropriately and consistently within the shared universe of the One Piece Roleplaying Fanon, it is important that any incidents involving Celestial Dragons are reported to the administration in a timely manner.

By reporting these incidents, players can help maintain the integrity and continuity of the shared universe and ensure that their roleplay experiences are enjoyable and respectful of the established lore. Failure to report such incidents may result in the affected roleplay being deemed "Non-canon," meaning that it is not considered part of the official story of the One Piece Roleplaying Fanon.

It can be reported via the discord's channel: celestial dragon clause, or directly on an administration's message wall.

Point System

Main article: Reputation Points

Reputation Points are the new system of One Piece Role-Play, developed during December of 2020 and properly implemented since January of 2021. Many, if not all, of the sections down below are in effect along with these points.

These Points are a way to streamline the way that rewards are given to the userbase, so that anybody, not everybody, is rewarded.

While it mentions the need of Bytes (amount of information, data put), Points are not given on amount of bytes alone, the Administration will be checking the proper effort and legitimacy behind them. If one's role-play does not meet a certain minimum of bytes, certain achievements might be deemed invalid. While there might not be perfect examples of such a situation, performing a multitude of actions and conquests such as:

  • Conquering a major territory;
  • Leading a very important mission;
  • Defeating/killing an important character;
  • Acquiring valuables without equal;

This does not apply to characters appearing as a cameo and special circumstances may be applied.

If a character, ability, location, etc, has not been debuted within role-play, then its content is not eligible or presentable for points.

Pages can be put together to give a sum of their bytes and net the user a point, i.e: a character with 16,000 bytes and another with 14,000 bytes, resulting in 2 points due to the 30,000 bytes. However, the minimum amount of content for a page being applied should ideally be above 5,000 bytes. Exceptions might apply.

Twenty Kingdoms & Canon Families

Due to how scarce the original twenty kingdoms of the World Government are (by virtue of the name, there can only be twenty), one must apply for their territory to be a member of the original twenty.

This can be done via the forum/discussion boards.

At the moment the creation of Figarland Family members is prohibited until announced otherwise.

Devil Fruits

See also the associated pages: Devil Fruit, Paramecia, Zoan, Logia, ACE, SMILE.

Because we are set in a time period in which 50+ years have passed since the conclusion of the original One Piece manga, Canon Devil Fruits have become available to the users of this community.

However, that is not to say that there are still no restrictions; several fruits from the main series will be prohibited for various reasons. Naturally, in order to gain the ability to utilize a canon devil fruit, permission must first be granted by one of the administrators.

After permission is given to the user, they ought to register the Canon Fruit in the Devil Fruit Registry in an organized manner. This must be done within a week of permission being granted.

While two of the same fruits cannot exist, there is an exception towards elemental orientated fruits of certain Paramecia and Logia classes, along with some others. So long as the new fruit is created with a different name from the original and an element different enough from its look-a-like (such as Concrete being different from Earth), so long their techniques are not copied from the original, the fruit will be permitted.

Failing to abide by this is frowned upon and the user will receive a warning for each time.

If one wishes to create a fruit of the same element, then they may do so as long as the name is different and the approach to techniques and use is different per user. If one wishes to undertake a different approach to this idea, ACE's exist on the wiki. They are artificial fruits, much like SMILEs, that possess several drawbacks.

Prohibited Fruits

  • Mizu Mizu no Mi: No water based fruits may be created. Because it would essentially negate the weakness all devil fruit users are given, regardless of water amount or usage.
  • Toki Toki no Mi: Because of how the Time-Time Fruit works (along with our wiki policy to NOT role-play in the future beyond the current present) by jumping forward in time, it is unclaimable.
  • Those with an ability like that of the Yami Yami no Mi, as in, fruits that can nullify Devil Fruit powers, are not allowed.

Mythical Zoans

As officialized by this thread: Thread:21247 dated from January 9th of 2019, and with evidence from Canon materials, along the physiological abilities of the animal they turn into, a Mythical Zoan will only be allowed to have one mythical power and one major physiological ability.

They can be reviewed by the admins themselves inside the Discord server.

For examples on abilities:

  • Canon: Marco has normal features from birds such as talons, claws, flight with wings, and the power to encase himself in regenerative flames.
  • Fanon: Kurama has the normal features of a fox, enhanced senses, claws, and the power to bewitch.

To explain what are those "mythical powers" and "physiological powers":

  • The Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu allows its user to turn into a dragon whose mythical ability is breathing different elements, which they can also use in other ways. On top of that, as an eastern dragon, they are able to create "Flame Clouds" in order to fly, something that can be used to make other things "fly" as well.
  • These two abilities can both count as separate powers, however, what is notable about the clouds is that they are a physiological ability. A fact that can be seen with Kaido beginning to tire out from sustaining Onigashima, whereas Kozuki Momonosuke (who essentially has the same fruit) is barely able to hold out Onigashima with his own clouds.
  • Effectively, your Mythical Zoan can have "more" than a single power, but this other power must be further tied to their physical ability.

Custom Animal Zoans

Any non-Mythical Zoan fruit with a custom animal species must be applied through a review thread in the site's Discussions, detailing all basic skills or attributes of the species. That way, those with convenient or unrelated abilities are kept from being made.

This is due to when a user creates a custom animal species, they essentially make it possible for there to exist a Zoan fruit of it.

If approved by the staff, the race and Devil Fruit can be made.

Canon Devil Fruits

See also the associated category: Canon Devil Fruits.

A lot of the rules we have implemented were for out-of-characters fairness, but also to make the story more consistent. Many devil fruit claimers fail to realize that their constant claims can interrupt someone else's story:

  • How can your character eat their fruit as a child considering that four other people have eaten it in 1584?

With that in mind, every user will be allotted up to 3 Canon Devil Fruits total, you may not have more than those 3.

  • For those of you with more than 3 already, you will be allowed to create a fanon version/variant of the fruit, so that your character maintains consistency.
  • You are allowed to choose which fruits you want to keep and which not.
  • Extra slots and their points will be refunded to you.

From now on, Inactivity is defined NOT by the fruit usage, but by the wiki author.

  • This means that while you are actively roleplaying and contributing to the site, a canon fruit cannot be taken from you.
  • Canon fruits are no longer "up for grabs" after three months of going unused. Instead, fruits can only be taken from a user who has left the wiki, or other extreme circumstances.
  • Fruits may still be traded and given away. A review thread must be posted for every claim, drop, and trade of any canon fruit. Failure to do so will force the fruit through a raffle.
  • If the fruit has been debuted in roleplay, its user must die before the trade/drop takes place. This means the death must be fully roleplayed PRIOR to putting up a review thread, and the roleplay involving the death must be linked in said thread. Admins reserve the right to deny any application they feel does not properly contribute to the story.

In other words, do not claim a fruit, regret it, and write a super short (2,000 bytes) roleplay with your character dying. It needs to be meaningful in some way. While your character may die at any time, you must:

  • Have the fruit for a minimum of four months;
  • OR have completed three fully-fleshed-out roleplays: meeting the minimum byte requirement for points (20,000 bytes); no solo roleplays; and starting after or on the date you claimed the fruit) with any character before you are allowed to trade or drop the fruit.

The prior fruit(s) must be debuted in a completed roleplay before you may claim another.

All devil fruits must be put on the registry upon obtaining them. Failure to do so makes you unable to claim another fruit, and all current fruits and their usage must be put in applications going forward, with their debuted and complete role-play link.

Unregistered fruit issues will be handled on a case by case basis, but the same restrictions will apply.

Haki

Main article: Haki

Haoshoku Haki is said to be an ability that appears in one in every million people within the whole wide world. For this reason, it has been restricted. However, because we want to allow everyone a fair chance, every user will be able to add it onto their character based upon the Reputation System, where a user has to submit a specific number points to gain Haoshoku.

Each time a user desires to add Haoshoku to a character, they must spend points again. Points are not redeemable, thus a deceased or undone character will give no points back, unless there are very special circumstances.

Certain Haki abilities are also restricted: the two advanced forms of Busoshoku Haki, Emission and Internal Destruction, cost points. The Future Sight aspect of Kenbunshoku Haki also has to be bought. Finally, Haoshoku Infusion must also be bought and has other requirements.

Voice of All Things

Main article: Voice of All Things

Another important ability like Haoshoku, Voice of All Things is rare and something to be applied for with points, the character will be allowed to have it one they are paid. Each character with its use has to be granted it through Points being paid, and that includes members of the Three-Eye Tribe, who are rumored in Canon to be able to unlock this ability.

Titles

See also the associated page: Worldwide Titles.

Titles such as "Greatest Swordsman in the World" are bestowed upon characters who have been greatly developed and earned their spot. If the title is taken, the user can then challenge the current holder of the title for it.

This includes past usages of these titles.

Titles are the items that require the most Reputation Points.

Three Great Powers

See also the associated pages: Three Great Powers, Marine Personnel, Shichibukai, Yonko.

In order to become a Navy Admiral, Shichibukai, or a Yonko, your character must first go through a reviewing process by the administration staff itself. Characters with accomplishments via role-plays and the such are the ones to be submitted along with points granted by the Reputation System.

Admirals require proper application and usage of Reputation Points. A character will have to Justice Points and meet other criteria to be able to be applied.

Note that, much like the Bounty System for Pirates, Marines can rise through the Ranks after activity and feats in role-plays. This also means that any rank below Admiral is free to be used, promoted, or created.

Bounties

Main article: Bounties

Bounties are given to characters by the userbase once they receive Reputation Points, each of which is equivalent to an amount (Beli Small25,000,000) that will be added to a character of their choice.

They can not be initially assigned any value, as stated above, a user have to have a character with a certain value already, of which, 40% can be applied to any other character.

  • To explain it: "User" has his character assigned a Bounty of Beli80,000,000 by their own choice of spending Reputation Points, so, they can freely have any of their other characters possess up to Beli32,000,000. Once "User" has their character bounty updated to Beli400,000,000, after a few role-plays, they can assign up to Beli160,000,000 to any of their characters.

Boost

If under a captain or group leader, the individual gets a boost to their bounty increasing based on 2.5% of said captain's bounty. This percentage amount is added to each point applied to the bounty, therefore, each point will multiply the Beli Small25,000,000 + 2.5%.

  • To better explain this, follow this example: If you are under a captain worth Beli Small1,000,000,000, then your bonus will be Beli Small25,000,000. Adding it to the base value of the points spoken about, you will be able to multiply Beli Small50,000,000 instead.

While said character's bounty may become the user's biggest, however, they will not be able to assign its 40% to any character. Instead, they will only be able to do it for new characters within the same crew of that character.

  • If you have a bounty of Beli Small1,000,000,000 outside a crew, you can freely use its 400,000,000 on your characters.
  • Meanwhile, inside a crew, you have a Beli Small2,000,000,000 character, but its 40%, Beli Small800,000,000, would not apply anywhere outside said crew.

Meito

Main article: Meito

Meito are Graded Swords, none of their ranks are allowed to be created normally. In fact, if a user wishes for their sword to be truly renown and considered a Grade Sword, they must role-play to acquire Reputation Points and accordingly promote their weapons.

One must buy each rank for their weapon in order for it to rise in rank. However, the O Wazamono and Saijo O Wazamono require more than purchases, as the weapons themselves must be reviewed and approved for the ranks.

While two or more weapons may be considered part of the same set, each weapon must have their ranks paid for separately. For example, Thunder and Stone is considered a single set despite being two different weapons, while Raiju and Raijin are a twin pair of swords, and yet, they all got to be bought individually.

Non Player Characters

NPC stands for "Non-Player Character" and usually refers to characters not used a conventional sense. For our Wiki, "NPCing" shall refer to when an user utilizes an existing character (most of the time, not one they created) regardless of the goal.

Similar to our Permadeath Clause, one can apply to retrive most of the points spent on such a "NPC", but on conditions that:

  • The character goes on to not be used anymore, whether killed or imprisoned. In the case the character is used after imprisonment, they will not retain any of the features which points were spent and redeemed for.
  • The points spent surpass 10 (which CAN include bounties, unlike Permadeath).
